On Thursday, the Columbia Bar & Grille (148 Bridge Street) unveiled a new patio section on the left side of the building. The new section can seat up to 24 patrons, making their total outdoor seating capacity of 36 (when including the 12 seat front porch section) quite possibly the largest in Phoenixville.
The patio features numerous wooden planters with plants of all shapes and sizes: flowers, bushes, small trees, etc. In general, it has a very chill vibe… It’s positioned far enough from the street so that noise is not an issue, yet close enough to people watch.
The all day dining menu contains comfort foods with flare. Some of the more intriguing offerings include: Crisp Duck and Caramelized Onion Quesadillas + Habanero – Mango Sauce ($9), Charred Beef Tenderloin Skewers + Blue Cheese Fondue ($10), Chipotle Spiked Yellowfin Tuna Tartare + Plantain Chips ($12), and Grilled Shrimp and Arugula Salad + Tomato + Fresh Mozzarella + Sliced Orange Vinaigrette ($14).
The patio should become a very happenin’ place when the weather starts to heat up…
