More Original Music at PJ Ryan’s Underground This Wednesday (3/31)

by Washington Washington

This Wednesday, PJ Ryan’s Pub opens its downstairs bar, The Underground, for weekly Wednesday night shows of old favorites and new friends. This week’s lineup will rock you into April Fool’s Day with Sharis, Pam McIntyre, and Blanko Dave.

A native of Philadelphia, Sharis is a singer / songwriter, an acoustic guitarist, and an energetic performer. Her sound spans from life’s gentle songs to powerful folk-blues-funk-rock with soul-inspired vocals and a grooving edge.

Pam McIntyre, a Nashville-showcased singer-songwriter, has a style described as “smart, well arranged Alterna/Pop that sticks to you like glue” (Sterling Koch, Pennsylvania Musician Magazine). Most recently with band PUMICE, her music has enjoyed airtime on WXPN, WXLV, WDIY, WMUH, WLVR, WEEU, and Comcast TV.

Opener Blanko Dave will perform a set of solo acoustic material. The tall, nervous troubadour schtick has landed ol’ Blank another gig, so bring yer friends and sing along to a heap of originals and a cover or two.

$3 cover, 21 & over. Downstairs bar opens at 8pm. Drink specials include $2 Coors Light drafts, $3 Blue Moons, and $3 Sweet Tea Vodka drinks.

Thanks for supporting the local scene!
